Out of the trip Byron walked away with a valuable new highchair/booster seat and also came back having mastered the art of the sippy cup. No more bottles!
While in Syracuse, Walter visited the zoo and saw all kinds of animals including lions...
...ring tailed lemurs...
...flamingos...
...elephants...
...goats!...
...and donkeys! (trust me, its a donkey...)
...parrots...
and penguins.
This little penguin could not escape his confines.
Neither could these two...
Walter made a new friend in Bella.
Walter also got to visit with his cousins, Abbie and Lennie.
Abbie was overjoyed to see Walter again.
Byron also got to see Grammie again.
And he was still happy to be in a new seat.
I'm not sure what the hangdog look was for, but I loved it anyways.
Walter also managed to find Buzz Lightyear, the space ranger!
And then winding up the week it was Cookie Monster cupcake time at Grandma's.
And then it all should have started innocently enough with a nibble.
Or two...
Or three...
See, nothing on my face at all.
Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
And then the sugar kicked in...
Oh what have we done?
I call this 'Praying to the God of Sugar.'
And then safely back home, a study in contrasts between a happy eater and not so happy one.
