While on vacation last week, we all took a trip to the Children's Museum in Portland. on our way there, we picked up a picnic from Hannaford's and drove to the Eastern Promenade and sat in the park overlooking the bay.
Walter's favorite part of it, was of course, the cookie.
M took this really great photo of us. We sat on the bandstand in the park. Perfect weekday afternoon for it.
Byron was busy running around.
And the boys discovered a multitude of flower petals. Maybe someone had a wedding there?
Then, they had to run around to burn some energy off.
When we got there, the first thing Walter found was the large replica of a fire engine, complete with hose, sirens, lights and jackets, hats and boots.
Just try tearing him away from this.
Then, it was a blast off into outer space in a space shuttle.
Piloting is a very serious business.
But, that doesn't mean that the co-pilot can't help.
No! Not THAT button!
At least there was something a little more age appropriate for Byron to do while we were there too. Now, all Walter does is talk about when we're going back.
