The last two weeks

The last couple of weeks have gone by in a fly. Lots of little milestones and it already seems as though Byron is growing like the proverbial weed. It was confirmed last week that he has very nearly made it back up to his birth weight of 8 pounds 7oz. And I can already tell with those old father arms that he's gotten heavier. Meanwhile, Walter is doing well with little brother and up to giving him a kiss upon the head and even admitting that he loves his brother. He could hardly be driven to admit that he liked him a couple of weeks ago.
We've had lots of rain here lately and while I've gotten much done around the house, we haven't spent much time outside, except in between rain storms splashing and running through puddles and then coming inside to get sloppy eating spaghetti-o's. It hasn't been all work, though. Walter has also spent his time helping making cookies too. The jeep is even changing. I've finally had the time to haul the body off the frame little by little. Walter was pretty amazed by what he saw the first time.
